When you just need the basics

Not every business needs an elaborate website. Maybe your business is more on social media, or offline, and you just need a landing page to call your own. I got you!
The truth is that no matter what, you and your business will benefit from having a professional corner on the internet. That’s why I have created a simple but effective starter package that will help you kick-start your new business in style!

Included in the Website Light
The Website Light is a one page website that will provide you a professional online presence while remaining simple and affordable. You can give your audience a view into who you are and what your business does, without having to have a complicated website with various different offerings.

- Font selection
- Logo (text based main logo, secondary logo and symbol)

- Brand guidelines document (your little brand bible)
- Space for 1 rounds of corrections
Website:
- Domain and hosting assistance + set-up help (monthly cost of hosting not included)
- Email set-up via your hosting provider (we don’t do gmail over here)
- Full WordPress set-up and premium Divi theme Installation (including all of the needed plugins for security, backup etc). Divi theme access for life.
- Strategic website copy guide to help you write your content
- Webdesign Image guide to help you with images for your website
- Website design for 1 page, including contact form (all responsive design of course)
- Additional, supportive (legal) pages: Link in bio, Terms & Conditions, Cookies, Privacy Policy
- Basic SEO Optimization (so that the search engines will find you)
- Launch support with launch graphics for 1 social media channel (Canva files)
- Training material (videos and PDF) so that you’ll know how to update your website yourself
- 14 days post-set-up support (after that you can opt for my maintenance program)
Priced separately if needed:
- Blog: €350 (incl blog page design, blog post design and guidance how to use it)
- Additional pages: €275 per page
- Email list automation set-up: €450
- Scheduling tool set-up: €195
- Design of 1 longer form marketing piece (e.g. lead magnet / ebook): Starting from €95 (depending on size of lead magnet)
- Graphic Design material based on request (business cards, brochures, flyers etc)

Needed from you
To build a website we need these elements before we can start:
Website content:
- I will be needing the words for the website before we can start.
- I will help you by providing you a Content template, but you’ll need to provide the text before we can get started.
- This is the most work for you, and should not be underestimated. If you need help, let me know and I can connect you with a few copywriters I know.
Website images:
- A website needs professional, good quality images. Unfortunately there are no design tricks possible that can compensate for poor quality (or only stock) images.
- Ideally I will need 5-10 professional quality images made to match your branding (which we will define before we start, so please hold off on the photoshoot until we have your brand personality and colors defined).
- Need help? Let me know, and I can recommend some photographers I know.
Technical stuff
Here are more details about the technical things, the tools I use, and what you can expect.
Domain and hosting assistance:
- I use DreamHost, and have for a decade now, and this is what I will recommend to you as well, unless you have anoter hosting provider that you’d rather work with.
- I will show you what to get, and you will have the hosting on your name (plus yearly fees are on you as well). I find it important for the client to have the hosting in their name, ownership is power.
- During this step we will register your domain as well, so the www. adress for your website.
- I will set up the needed email accounts for you.
Website platform and theme:
- I use WordPress, and the theme that I work with is Divi from Elegant Themes.
- I will do the full WordPress set-up, and install the Divi theme, including all of the needed plugins for security, backup etc.
- You will have a lifetime access to the Divi theme through my life-time account. If at any time you would want to have this on your own account, you can purchase Divi yourself and update the API key (I will show you how).
Optimization:
- Your site will be designed responsive to all formats, desktop, tablet and mobile, and I will test it on multiple browsers and phone types before going live.
- Your site will be SEO optimazed, and I will submit the site-map to Google so that the search engines will find you. Having said that, good SEO is a long term game, so how you maintain your site (such as through blogs, links etc) affects the searchability as well, and therefore the SEO optimation we do could be considered technical. Functional SEO is how you use your site during the months and years after we go live.
Launch support graphics:
- You will get Canva files that you are able to modify and later on use as you wish.
What about maintenance afterwards?
It is my aim to provide you with the tools, guidance and the knowledge to be able to maintain your website yourself. But even if being independent can be empowering, you don’t have to if you don’t want to.
